Jakola Farm Celebrated 100 Years in 2018<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jakola Farm, located in the village of P\u00e4\u00e4j\u00e4rvi in Saarij\u00e4rvi, includes the main farm built in the early 1900s, as well as the separate farm Villa Rentola, the high-quality cottage Villa Mertala, the sauna cottage Mertaranta, and the former village school MulikKa Hillton. The main farm also houses the Jakola Car Museum, one of the largest car museums in Finland.

Our services include accommodation, food and event services, and various nature-based activities according to the seasons. The peaceful and versatile environment allows for activities such as fishing, boating, skiing, hiking, berry picking, and mushroom foraging. All our accommodations are non-smoking and pet-friendly. Free Wi-Fi is available in every location.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In 2022, a generational change took place, and the current owners established the Jakola Partnership. Siblings Ilkka, Vesa, Hannele, and Antti continue the operations in the fourth generation.

Esa and Mirja still live on the farm and continue to assist with accommodation services and property maintenance as needed. Mulikan HillTon remains owned by Mirja and Esa.
